The SFPA wants to issue a special heads up for new SFPA members who are receiving the print edition and members who recently moved.
All current SFPA members should have received the digital link to Star*Line 41.3 this week, but as we prepare for the mailing NOW is the time to let us know if your address has changed.
If you have not received the digital link, please let us know, and send address changes to our membership chair ASAP by July 25th so we can update our records. This particular mailing is very important because it will also include your copy of the Dwarf Stars short poem candidates for consideration to review and vote on. This issue of Star*Line also includes voting instructions for the Elgin Awards and Grand Master nominees, among other notices and updates. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for the secret shoggoth hidden in the cover by Virgil Suarez!

The Dwarf Stars anthology showcases nominees for the best short poem published in the previous year. Anyone may submit their own poems or those of others; there is no limit to how many poems you may submit for the anthology, but poems are selected for inclusion by the editor. Only SFPA members may vote for the award. Open to all genres of speculative poetry, including science fiction, fantasy, horror, and “unclassifiable, but speculative,” Dwarf Star poems must be no more than ten lines (or no more than 100 words for prose poems) not including title or stanza breaks, and first published in the preceding year. Nominations typically open up on the first of April each year.
