Write Now! #3
Mad Libs should be a writer's go-to game for word play. It forces you to come up with words on demand, and then a fun tale emerges. If you've never tried it, you need to, even if you're not a writer. Here's a fill-in-the-blanks that's a bit different. The blanks don't indicate the part of speech, and they don't limit you to necessarily one word. Fill in the these blanks at least five times. Then see if you can mix and match. Use one. Use them all. Make a poem. I'll even write it out five times for you. Be not afraid of the _______, but of the ______ behind the ________.
