She works as a poetry editor for the <em>Teen<\/em> lit journal and has contributed to literary magazines such as <em>Synchronized Chaos, Eunoia Magazine, IHRAF, Cajun Mutt<\/em>, and others. His poem \u201cHow Beautiful\u201d is included in the undergraduate curriculum at the university level. He has been accoladed with The Klo\u0161tar Ivani\u0107 International Haiku Award, The Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Invitational Award, the IAFOR Vladimir Devid\u00e9 Haiku Award, The Setouchi Matsuyama Photo Haiku Award, The Katherine Mansfield International Haiku Award, and others. His haiku are featured at Mann Library, Cornell University, \u201cHaiku Wall\u201d, Historic Liberty Theatre Gallery in Bend, Oregon. His tanka appeared in Kudo Resource Guide, University of California, Berkeley, and put on rendition in the Musical Drama Performance Coming Home, The International Opera through Art Songs, Toronto, Canada. He introduced new forms of poetry: Hainka: the fusion of haiku and tanka, Micro-Haiga, and Braided Haiku.
