What do you get when you join the SFPA? Lots of things!
- You get a yearly subscription to Star*Line, a journal filled with poetry, reviews, articles, and more.
- You get the annual Rhysling Anthology, filled with the best speculative poetry of the previous year. As a member, you can to nominate one short poem and one long poem to be printed in this anthology, and then vote for which poems receive that year's Rhysling Award.
- You get the annual Dwarf Stars anthology of short-short speculative poetry and can vote for which poem receives that year's Dwarf Stars Award.
- You can nominate books and chapbooks for the annual Elgin Award, and vote for that year's award.
- You get half-price advertising here on the SFPA website.
- You can vote for SFPA officers and influence the direction the SFPA will take next. You become eligible to be an SFPA officer.
- You can join the SFPA listserv and Discord and be kept up to date on the latest news.
- You help support the speculative poetry community.

How to Join or Renew
To join or renew your current membership, please use the appropriate PayPal button below. You may pay with a PayPal account or any major credit/debit card.
Please include the e-mail address to be used for SFPA correspondence in the note section unless it is the same as your PayPal address.
We no longer accept payment by check except in extenuating or special circumstances. Please email the Treasurer at sfpatreasurer@gmail.com directly if you are unable to use PayPal to join or to renew your membership.
