As our 40th anniversary of the SFPA approaches, we've also been exploring the interest of our members in gathering together formally at least once somewhere in the United States. Our membership chair, Diane Severson Mori has set up a survey with some initial questions for everyone. Tentatively referred to as SPECPOCON (because we have to start somewhere) the premise is a convention for Speculative Poetry and those who love it. Does that sound interesting? We are testing the waters with this preliminary survey. No specifics yet, just inquiring about generalities, i.e. interest, where, when, how, can you help? That sort of thing.
