Congratulations to the winners!
About the Awards
The Elgin Awards, named for SFPA founder Suzette Haden Elgin, are selected by the membership of the Science Fiction Poetry Association for books published in the preceding two years in two categories, Chapbook and Book. Chapbooks must contain 10-39 pages of poetry and books must contain 40 or more pages of poetry.
The Rhysling Awards are selected by the membership of the Science Fiction Poetry Association from poetry published in the previous year. Each member is allowed to nominate one work in each of two categories: “Best Long Poem” (50–299 lines; for prose poems, 500–1,999 words) and “Best Short Poem” (11–49 lines; for prose poems, 101–499 words).
