About Are We There Yet?

In this issue, Santa Fe Poetry Broadside is happy to bring you thirteen poems selected from Are We There Yet?'s long publishing history in Santa Fe. We have pasted in, here and there, some of the exuberant handlettering and sketches which are characteristic of There. To the poems... About the poets.

Are We There Yet? ARE WE THERE YET? is a literary 'zine published in Santa Fe by Gail Snyder. Our purpose is to flip over all things known and familiar in order to examine their secret, hidden sides, We seek quality work that arises from the artist's deeply felt personal experience. Three or four times a year, we perform public readings based on evocative themes--The War Between Men & Women, Lying, Wreck The Halls (a Christmas performance)--and the following issue of ARE WE THERE YET? contains all the material performed at the last reading. Through humor and compassion, our aim is to generate new ideas so that we can all get out of the old ruts we've been stuck in and take ourselves to new heights.

Are We There Yet? Now is when we need to lighten up the most. So join us and get your laugh mileage out of lifting those veils and being here now. Subscriptions are $28 for one year or 12 issues; $48 for two years/24 issues; and $200 for a lifetime subscription. Send money order to Gail Snyder, 8 Placita Anita, Santa Fe, New Mexico, 87501. For sample copy, send $3 plus $1.25 postage to same address; to submit, send SASE.
