Declaration

The opposite of a fact is falsehood, but the opposite of one profound truth
may very well be another profound truth.

- Niels Bohr

I hold these truths to be self evident:
That goose music at midday reminds me to look up.
That the hummingbird hums because it can't help it, not for joy.
That when I hum, I feel more joyful.
That less is more, more or less.
That the night breathes the color beneath the goose’s white chinstrap.
That night returns.
That the stars glitter overhead, even during the day.
That some glitter is gold.
That it only seems that stars shine overhead. The stars, in fact, surround us.
That busy does not mean productive.
That the goose weaving though water has more grace than the goose waddling on land.
That the goose doesn’t care if it’s graceful.
That I am bewitched when I watch you.
That I have never heard a star.
That stars hum at their birth in an octave 8 scales below what the human ear hears.
That today I did not recognize the woman in the mirror.
That we can hear what was not said.
That saying something does not make it true.
I love you.
That the female bluebird is not blue.
That words are slipperier than mud.
I love you.
That the goose does not question what is false, what is true.
That I am not a goose.
That there is nothing new.
That what appears solid is mostly space.
That the goose and the stars are on the loose.
That scientists have no equation to prove bewitchment.
That I am absolved from allegiance to the Truth.
