Gary Faigin
Gary Faigin is co-founder and Artistic Director of the Seattle Academy of Fine Art. His paintings explore his two favorite themes: altering one's perception of the commonplace and developing mood through intense contrasts of light and dark. He wrote and illustrated the classic text, The Artist's Complete Guide to Facial Expression, now in its seventh printing. In August 2002, he will once again be teaching Landscape Painting in Oil and Pastel at Ghost Ranch.
