About the Poet

Lyn Lifshin

Lyn Lifshin has written more than 90 books and chapbooks of poetry. Her most recent is Before It's Light: New Poems from Black Sparrow. She has edited four major anthologies of women's writing, including Tangled Vines and Ariadne's Thread. She is the subject of the award-winning documentary film Not Made of Glass by Mary Ann Lynch.
