About the Poet

Alvaro Cardona-Hine

Alvaro Cardona-Hine is a poet and artist. He was born in Costa Rica, and now lives in Truchas, New Mexico, where he operates the Cardone-Hine Gallery. Some of his recent works include Miss O'Keeffe (with Christine van Patten), University of New Mexico Press, 1992; Four Poems about Sparrows, Eyelight Press, 1994 and A Garden of Sound, Pemmican Press, 1996.
