Miriam Sagan
- Miriam Sagan's books include Dirty Laundry: 100 Days in a Zen
Monastery (now in its second edition, from New World Library), a joint diary written with Robert Winson.
She and Joan Logghe are the editors of Another
Desert : Jewish Poetry of New Mexico (Sherman Asher), and are offering
a series of workshops and readings on Jewish
poetry in New Mexico. Her most recent books are a volume of poetry, The Widow's
Coat (Ahsahta Press, 1999), and
Unbroken Line:
Writing in the Lineage of Poetry (Sherman Asher, 1999).

Roshan Houshmand
- Roshan Houshmand is an Iranian/American
artist who was born in the Philippines in 1961.
She was raised in the Philippines and Iran.
This taste for travel has brought her to live
and work in Barcelona, New York, Cyprus,
Mallorca and Morocco. She received her BA
from Bennington College in Vermont in 1982,
and her Masters from Rosary College of Art in
Florence, Italy. Her major influences include
Islamic Art, which led her to Constructivism
through Conceptual and the Monochromes.
Her major exhibitions include Galeria Rene
Metras, Barcelona, Spain, 1995 & 1996;
Marguerite Oestreicher Fine Arts, New
Orleans , 1992; Boca Raton Museum of Art,
Florida, 1991; Marianovich Art, Barcelona,
Spain, 1990; and HOME for Contemporary
Theatre and Art, New York, 1989. Her work
can currently be seen at the Rene Metras
Gallery in Barcelona and the Marguerite
Oestreicher Fine Arts Gallery in New Orleans.
She currently lives in Pennsylvania.
